I suggest a small, yet big improvement to the knob behavior for any Elektron gear. Allow the user to choose that the knobs run fast when pushed down and slow when not pushed down, or vice verse, i.e. that they run slow when pushed down and fast when not pushed down. The former is today’s behavior, but I would personally prefer the latter. I have been using Elektron since the first MachineDrum came out in 2001 and I still wish the knobs were defaulting to fast and only ran slow when pushed down.

Can’t agree more, I push buttons most of the time. Got used to it, but seems a bit stupid.

The Elektron encoders are a pain in the arse to operate efficiently.
Prefer to control them from Overbridge with a mouse, or from an external midi controller
The push action is a bit too ‘strong’ for my liking.
Although I guess it must have been difficult for the designers to dial in the right amount of resistance.

Turning new elektron encoders whilst pressing is not a good experience, reminds me of steering with a wobbly rudder, doesnt feel good for their longevity either.
