I currently have an Indigo 2 and I don’t use it fully. I’m looking to replace it with something else. I would like opinions of what others are using, or love using.

I’m looking to get something a little simpler like a Prophet 08, Mopho x4, Mono Evolver. Although I’ve been hearing how bad the keybeds are on the DSIs. Simpler as in I don’t need or use 16 parts. Something with polyphony is a plus.

I would only be triggering the A4 and Octatrack with it, so MIDI.

Also, what would you pay/trade for an Indigo 2 these days?

I think they go for around £500-600 on ebay.

Personally, I think the keybeds (fatar?) on the DSI synths are pretty good. The one on my Mono Evolver has the best aftertouch of any I’ve played.

Certainly the Prophet 08 is a very intuitive synth. Much simpler to program that the Virus. Sounds great through the A4’s effects too.

Whereabouts are you? There might be someone on here who would be interested in a trade.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been in love with the 08 since it came out.

I’m near Detroit in the US. I figure I can get about $1000-$1200 for the Indigo.
