Yeah hypnotic techno secret weapon! Love this one.

Otherwise I’m focussing on ableton devices for now so just using Auto Filter. You can do quite a lot with the different models and drive etc

The Drop is excellent.
Unfortunately it is still not available for VST3/M1 Macs.

Side remark: it is interesting/unexpected that Cytomic and U-He (Uhbik) have emerged as among the most disappointing companies in that regard…

I am guessing you use the grid for deeper filter options in Bitwig? If you have any more info on this please share in the BW thread. I’m still pretty new to the software and don’t want to derail here, but I feel like I’m barely scratching the surface with the stock filter plugin (which btw, sounds great)

And yea, stock Auto filter is really good too, I especially like to set it in morph mode and use many lfo’s to control it.

I’ve got it. It’s good. But for many applications, I’m using filter shaper xl. And frankly, if you’ve got Bitwig you can make almost any filter a filter shaper very easily.

UVI Shade, sound design filter, incredibly fast and easy to modulate.

I know I can do the same in bitwig, and bitwig has replaced a lot of my vsts, but this one I still use it because I like it so much.

I’m a “Filter enthusiast” !

I’ve tried most software filters and a lot of analog hardware. I was looking for the vsts that are closest to the analog sound and after many years there are only two plugins for me :

Waldorf D-Pole
PSP Stomp Filter

I got the 2-Pole hardware and I regret selling it! (It is becoming overpriced for a relatively simple mono even if of a rare quality !)

Not used it for ages but I remember the filters on Vaz Modular being pretty lush too (mention of the Waldorf d-pole got me thinking about my first VSTs!)
