You know just yesterday ( literally ) i was listening back to some old Strawbs ( with Sandy Denny ) and came across the stuff with Wakeman.
As he says on the music industry today … “Shitify”.
There are so many people still here, not even names, that were there when it happened. We need more of this sort of air brought to them. Beato’s interview style made me think of great interviewers like Studs Terkel.

I think Beato only spoke 10 sentences in the whole interview. Wakeman does after dinner speeches and is one one the greatest oraters in music history. He is a living book.

OK. You pulled on this thread – here’s a phone interview with Eddy Offord ( he was talked about by Wakeman ), who starts this interview talking about doing Close to the Edge, and touring with Yes but then goes into whole other directions ( for an hour and a half ).
