zing!
the a4 reads kits fast enough that I can easily send 60 kits per second… which allows smooth sweeps between entire kits. i couldn’t believe it at first but this works really well. this machine is so crazy…

none… the thing stays completely cool. no glitches, no lag, nothing
I don’t know what’s more impressive. The machines, or you guys that figure these hacks out! This stuff is waaaay beyond me, but I love to watch.

so for each track there’s 2 sounds (picked from the user sound pool) and they are interpolated. track 5 (FX) is also faded between 2 kit’s FX tracks.
the crossfaders and sound sources are controlled by MIDI cc messages, and in the video the CCs come from a Machinedrum’s MIDI machines…
obviously, doing this can sound very crappy, but it can also sound very cool. and if there’s a kit you dig? just stop messing around, it is already saved & linked to the pattern…
