The thumbnail gets a pass for the ‘tache alone in my book, too many bearded synth youtuber thumbnails at this point
@mpiecora formant filter with peq can be done similarly, a lot of fun for “talking bass’ etc.
Anyway, great video as per usual.

Thanks lol
glad you enjoyed it
In this video tutorial I teach you how to build several of the more advanced effects from my Octatrack Performance Template. Effects Include: Live Resampling, Reverse, Reverse Echo Freeze, Echo Freeze, Pitch Riser/Decline, and Pitch Modulation/Transpose.
During the tutorial I use the THRU track (T1) as my target to be recorded, please select Track 8 (T8) instead. It is best practice for these effects to use your master track as the recording source. I am honestly not sure how I let that slip, I am incredibly particular about this. Derp.
Thanks for the video, enjoying it! And lovely production quality, what equipment (cameras, lighting) are you using?
Good timing! The last couple of evenings I’ve been looking at my Track 5 (Thru, from Rytm Main outs) and wondering what to do with it
. Thanks for making a whole video of suggestions right when I need it!
Happy to help!
I really enjoy video almost as much as I do music. I finish more videos than I do tracks at this point, go figure.
I’ve really enjoyed these performance-oriented videos of yours! The way I use my Octatrack is a bit different from the way you are in demonstrating these effects, but I find the core ideas really useful. Merci!
Thank you for this and all your videos. Your channel is my OT tutor.
Always happy with a new EZ Octatrack video
Thanks for the kind words everyone
I was on my third OT when I discovered your videos, and now I want to keep it forever. Very helpful stuff.
Yeah great video!
Ii absolutely LOVE the OT’s effects.
I use lots of neighbor tracks to create a wide variety of effects.
SO MUCH FUN!
Thanks for taking the time to make these vids, very useful.
I always love learning new lil tricks.
This is a very old practice set, but you can definitely hear the host of crossfader effects
Great stuff, nice tunes!
This sounds great!
Breathing new life into the OT! I went through the same process until one day it just clicked
Thank you!!!
I love all the pitch shifting effects you get into.
Thats something I need to explore more
I found for me, it works great as more of an instrument than a centerpiece.
I have it sync’d to my MPC Keys, where I use it’s midi sequencing and arp to help come up with melody’s I might not on the keys. Then I route audio from the MPC and resample into the OT, mangle it, and resample it back into the MPC.
Best of both worlds.
In my personal productions that is similar to how it works for me as well
Good tutorial, but sorry to say it wasn’t amazing enough for me !
