External "stop" doesn't seem to stop sound output

Anyone know if there’s a setting somewhere to adjust how MnM responds to an external stop?

The local stop stops sound immediately.

Stop from my Octatrack stops the sequencer, but sound still seems to get output from MnM. Second stop from Octactrack stops the MnM sound.

The big problem is my Cirklon, which doesn’t appear to stop the sound output, but does stop the sequencer.

Any thoughts?

Ah - it’s the arpeggiator which keeps playing.

I was just running through Nicholas Lem’s presets and noticed it. He seems to be using the arp quite a lot.

I also have this problem when using my MPC1000 to send MIDI clock.
The Monomachine sometimes has hanging notes or will start to play on its own after I have stopped the MPC. I usually just hit stop on the Monomachine after I have stopped the MPC just to be safe. That works. But sometimes when trigger external midi tracks the hanging notes can create random weird patterns, have the recorder handy. To be honest for that reason I kind of enjoy this quirk. But other times it is annoying.

yeah - it’s standard with the Mono… I just double-tap the MnMs stop button if you want to kill all hanging sound.

yep, double tap on the stop button is probably the best way to stop things happening

OK - thanks!

Seems to only be on the arpeggiator anyhow. Not sure I’ll be using that ever-so much anyhow. Will probably be using the sequencer more than the arp.
