Hi! I am a beginner to the OT and i was wondering how basically works the process of midi tweaking to get to play samples from the octatrack chromatically on a keyboard.
I already have read the informations in this link but i don’t really know what to do with those and what to begin with …
Would also this be possible with a waldorf blofeld?

On important thing to know about the OT and external MIDI is that only a very small range of MIDI notes will trigger the transposition of samples, but most of the other notes will trigger various functions on the OT.
Please check the manual p. 136 to see which note triggers what.

Just make sure the keyboard you select has DIN MIDI out and not USB MIDI only. The Octatrack doesn’t support MIDI over USB.
Keyboard DIN MID OUT → OT MIDI IN
OT MIDI THRU → Blofeld

yes this is possible.
connection as described by @tnussb
in the midi settings choose an AUTO channel - example 11 - on keyboard you will have to choose this channel that OT will respond to MIDI messages
so far so good.
press MIDI button - choose one empty MIDI track - SRC button - choose the correct MIDI channel for your blofeld (example 10).
so: OT is on channel 11 - Blofeld on 10.
to trigger the Blofeld you will have to set your keyboard to channel 11 (!) and the OT will take care of sending OUT to Blofeld to channel 10 IF you have selected the correspondig MIDI track.
