External MIDI control?

I’m interested if i can expand my AR for instance with Korg Nanokontrol (or any other similar budget contoller) in order to control the sample levels and whatever comes to mind really.

How do i achieve this? Bare in mind that my midi knowledge extends to almost nothing

you can control a lot on the RYTM with midi
for something like the korg you’d need a USB host
there are lots of good threads on the various ways to do this
search for kenton usb host e.g. - to get the threads, they’re pricey - best to get a controller device with DIN midi outs if poss

Isn’t it possible to choose among MIDI config “input from USB”? So that you could connect a usb-midi controler like nanokontrol directly?

Yes.

No. Both the Nanokontrol and the Analog Rytm are USB peripherals that need to connect to a USB host. You need a USB host (a specialist device or a computer) in order to connect the NK to the AR.
