External FX quest

hi guys,
need some advice from you:
i’m looking for hi quality external FX. such as reverb, delay, overdrive, multi FX etc.
what would you recommend me. what products are recently on the market?
are guitar FX usable for all kinds of other instruments or are they optimized for the freq range of a guitar?
i would prefer to use them as send FX next to my OT, Tempest, etc…

I recommend Strymon pedals. Really, really lovely sound and they work with line-level signals with no problems.

Aren’t that cheap though, but not quite high end prices either.
