External CV Mixer for Analog Four Mk1

Hi all,

Apologies if I’ve missed existing material on this, but I can’t find anything which specifically answers my question. I’m wondering whether the A4 Mk1 can use an external mixer which uses CV to control Track levels independently. This way I don’t have to use the much less subtle encoders.

The question is made up of two parts: 1) is this possible? 2) does such a mixer exist?

Your question is a little ambiguous.

The Analog Four MkI does not have CV inputs. It can only be externally controlled by MIDI messages.

The AF MkI does have CV outputs, so you could send CV signals to control external devices. But you would have to use Overbridge or make a hardware modification to access the four outputs of the AF MkI in order to control their level.

@PeterHanes, you are completely right, apologies for wasting your time. I forget to check whether or not the A4 has a CV input, and instead assumed that this was the case.

Analog Rytm has 2 CV inputs.

Analog 4 mk 2 has 2 cv inputs as well.
