Evil lead

Hi, im trying to create this kind of dark evil reverbed lead sound, much like the one Maelstrom is using in his tracks. I know he use this analog4 on a lot of his tracks. Anyone have any idea how to create this?

cool it sound like a poly rhythm, 5 - 16th notes on repeat. for the sound its just something like two osc minor chord so tune one -5 or -7. Try triangle or sawtooth and De-tune’ em. the octave range sound like 4-6 but u can always raise the ocs range so hard to tell. you will have to mess with the filter setting and play with the ocs sounds to get it close.

and last add delay and reverb.

A couple of questions, i didnt completely understand all the terms you use…

What do you mean by

Polyrhythm 5-16th?
Two osc minor chord =
Octave range 4-6

I think i know where you are getting at, but these things confuse me a bit:)

poly rhythm you just put 5 steps on the sequencer

tune one osc -5 or -7

the note octave range could be 4 through 6

if you don’t know what that is read through the analog 4 instructions and if that is confusing id read about general syntheses.

deff a filter envelope going. some attack, low decay and sustain. Awsome tune. BTW , thanks for the inadvertent suggestion I wish more stuff like this was played on nights out.

Maelstrom and all the producers at Zone records are amazing… reverb is the new sidechain:)
