Oh sure, we’re all looking for the proper balance of whatever. And workflow is relative.

I have analog versions of many effects but (to me) the algos are finally good enough that I’m considering getting rid of a few :slight_smile:

Can you elaborate on what aspects you find “too digital”?

I do like a rawer, low bit digital sound and early Harmonizer algos, for whatever reason the modern UAD pedals I never got into. I liked the Ensoniq DP/4 but the programming (even with a 3rd party app) also didn’t click. I have not heard the latest platform/engine from Strymon but never really gelled with the previous sound in the Volante or Big Sky.

Anyway, curious since it’s fun to hear people describe timbre and helps me understand others’ experiential.
