Hello all, this is probably going to be an easy question for those more experienced users.
I have an Analog Four MK2, and an Analog Rytm M2, and about to purchase an Eventide H90.
I don’t have any other gear, no mixer or no external monitors - no space or cannot not play sounds. So I can only use headphones. I do have a Zoom H5 handy recorder which I could probably use but that only has two inputs.
How do I route audio between these 3 units (H90/A4/AR) and still be able to plug/use headphones as my monitors?
After routing the A4 and AR (or just the A4) into the H90 do I route the output of H90 back into the input of the A4?
(PS the H90 has four inputs and four outputs).
Hope this makes sense.
Cheers

I would do it like this, as the h90 has two stereo effect units, with a relatively flexible routing:
A4 -> H90
AR -> H90
H90 -> Zoom H5
H5 -> Headphones
This will give you the internal effects of the elektron machines, H90 effects separat for each machine or combined (check the routing possibilities), a stereo recording plus monitoring of the master recording via headphones. You also can use balanced cables for all connections till the signal reaches the recorder.
Seems like a very small, but very capable setup. Optionally, you could introduce a master compression unit (maybe an OTO Boum or a Elektron Heat) between the H90 and the H5.
Cheers and a happy new year

Thanks so much @MartinLooperKing - Happy New Year to you!
Also considering the Meris Mercy X - but have been lusting after an Analog Heat + FX since its launch!
My head says AH+FX, but do love those lush sounds from the H90 and Mercy X.
Pricing (in order of expense) AH+FX, followed by H90 and then a biggish drop in price for the Mercy X.
OTO Boum is a great option to.
Cheers
To be honest I reckon the AH+FX will win the race … seems like the most local choice and matches perfectly with the AR and A4.
I would go with the h90 because it can handle the signal of your two devices, not just a single source, as the heat + fx.
After the h90, I would put a master compressor/saturator. But this is absolutely optional. Maybe, for example, the heat mk2… the effect of the new heat + fx are not top notch anyways.
My choice for the bespoken scenario would be the h90 plus the Oto Boum.
Have to agree Martin - it appears to be the best solution, and as you say the compressor/saturator is optional.
H90 having the two channels is really excellent, and the H90 effects sound much better than the AH+FX.
Didn’t realise how good/warm the OTO BOUM is
Cheers and thanks again, really appreciate it.
