Eventide H9 Max Advice

Hi Guys

Just some advice please

Ive just bought a Eventide H9 Max from Ebay not received it yet still in the post

Could someone tell me how do I check its Max and if it is a Max how do i register it in my name as I’ve asked the buyer several times about this with no reply

You can check if it is max simply by checking if you can use all the fx.

The licence transfer is done by emailing Eventide and providing a picture of the serial number of the pedal 5and the seller will have to validate it).

I have no idea, this did not happen to me

But I guess that you would simply discuss the thing with eventide, show them a payment proof and it will go smooth.

Don’t worry? ( until you need to ?)
And think to all the wah moments that you will experience, because the H9 is a lot of fun

The Max has all algorithms, no need to mess with licenses.

You can tell if it is a Max by switching it on. When it starts up, the screen will say H9 Core, H9, or H9 Max.

Just had a email from Eventide just to say that if I send them a pic of the serial number on the unit they will register it in my name

You’re right, registering the H9Max won’t offer more algos so it’s not really necessary.

but…

I was able to get the H9 plugin Bundle for free because I had my H9Max registered to my account and they were doing a promotion. Hardware is taken into account for some bundles or promotions so I would recommend to register even if out of warranty.

Mine is registered, but I never saw that promotion. A shame I missed it, as I use the plugins more often than the pedal these days!

The promotion was near the end of 2020 or 2021 I don’t remember. I use the plugins all the time too so when I sold my H9Max, I was afraid that unregestering it would remove the license for the bundle but it did not! I have the H90 now so I hope a new H90 bundle will be released soon We, H9/H90 owner might get a discount then!
