Even more snap on snappy sound

Hey guys, im writing here to hopefully get some expert help and save some time:)

I have just created a pretty cool sequence and its going in a new tune!.

However, i want the sequence to slam even more. I have tweekend the envelopes for a while, so i think i have reached the snap-potential here now. Then i remembered that when creating Kick sounds, there is a lfo to slide trick that works nicely to get the exstra snappy click on the top of the sound… However, i cant remember how this is done. Anybody got a hot tip for me here?

Saying slide do you mean the Bend parameter in OSC2 page2.

If you make the LFO shaped as falling ramp or envelope in TRIG mode you can assign it to modulate the BEND parameter or you can give a try to other parameters as well…like Osc Pitch / Filter1 Overdrive,and patch’s sensible ones also.

I have AF not AK…but It should apply there as well.
But maybe I misunderstood your question…?

Hey, sound about right. I didnt know the bend thing was only on osc2, that was probably why i couldnt find it. Ill give it a try, thanks for your feedback

I’m pretty sure the bend parameter affects both oscillators, they just stuck the option on the 2nd Osc2 screen.

If you have Sync activated it should affect only the synced(slave) Osc

BND (Bend Depth) controls the amount of the autobend feature.
The higher the setting, the more the pitch of a trigged note will be
offset. The sound will then glide towards its right pitch. This
parameter is particularly useful in drum sounds or sync sweeps;
if oscillator sync is engaged (SMD) then only the synced oscillator
will bend.

If you haven’t already used your noise source from OSC1, you can throw that in with a quick fade. Turn down both OSC to get it where you want it, then add the OSC back in. You can also tell one of the assignable envelopes to modulate the level of your noise source…. a little noise goes a long way!
