Euro/RNC audio level advice

Hi ya’s, just looking for some advice regarding my Euro setup.

I’ve been looking for a line level to euro level interface for my modular setup. Mainly to get my Anushri (or other line level devices, Octa for example) up to euro levels for processing. Looking at the Circuit Abbey Gozinta or Pittsburgh InOut.
But my question is, would using an FMR audio “RNC” (which I allready own) with very minimal compressor settings but using the output gain to get the desired euro level, would this cause distortion ?

Then the next question I suppose would be at the other end, will the level in to my shity Behringer mixer be too hot ? Does this have to do with the headroom specifications of the mixer. I imagine using the paded mic inputs would not work.

The reason I’m asking and not just trying this myself is, my studio is all pulled apart waiting to be rebuilt, but I’ve been sidetracked building my modular :+1: .

P.S. Dogma if your reading this, I’d love to see some pic’s of your modular.

I just picked up one of these:

It is 8 in 8 out line level conversion on balanced or unbalanced db25 connectors for integrating into a patchbay. Or connect directly to your converters or any other outboard gear or instrument. I ordered the balanced, which are still being manufactured, and the guy sent me an unbalanced one to use in the meantime! When the balanced one comes in he will ship me the board to swap out. That is some first rate customer service.

Thanx, but there is no gain on the input side. The balanced version has 6db gain which isnt that much, but cost too much for me, and more channels than I need.
Great module but :+1: .
