mentary I bet you will enjoy!
yeah, he’s from my city. My wife did primary school with one of his grand children in her class.
To be honest, no idea about how well known he is outside The Netherlands. But he is amazing. This ‘animal’ is my favourite
@De wouzer : I would think that endless stairs and endless river are something that are known all around the world, no ?
I feel like I know some of Escher’s works from the childhood, as many people around me.
Yet this documentary showed me there is a lot to learn on the Master
Thanks @TrabanT !!
sometimes it is difficult to estimate how popular something is. But now I understand he is more popular than I thought?
Did you ever hear about Vincent van Gogh?

Never heard of him.
When I was a kid, my parents used to listen to some guy called Picasso - but now I can’t seem to find any of his music in the record shops…
Looks interesting. I’ll watch it when I get home

Escher is well known in France, since I’m young. He does a lot of fresque. He’s known too by mathematicians.
