It’s a digital pedal with analog pre-gain?

Yeah, feels like the felt like something had to be analogue…

Sounds banging though

It’s awesome they included the signal flow chart in the manual. I’m going to build my own in Ableton Live using Kilohearts’ Shaper Table.

I literally thought about this yesterday!

I love the hardware/UI/apparent build quality, but the judging by the demos on YT the sound is just not very good or interesting to my ears. The upper spectrum sounds very harsh and inharmonic in a digital, not very organic way (again, to my ears, ymmv). I’d much rather go with a used AHmk2 if looking for a multi-distortion unit. The sound has a similar metallic, grainy quality that I heard in Echolocator, like the highs are super fizzy and congested.
I kinda wish they’d do something with this hardware form factor with another developer than 112db for a change. Like Fors!

I think the industrial people are going to be all over this one but it’s too harsh for most genres of music imo. I’m glad this exists though because I just did a bunch of research into knobby stereo distortions and there really aren’t that many options. I did think the demo sounded really good particularly when they played the bass synth sounds through it. It sounded pretty unique on guitar too.

I agree about it sounding very digital too, but I think that’s probably the selling point for people who want this sound.

Like a stereo channel strip that has high pass and low pass filters, a saturator and a compressor. Maybe with high/mid/low kill switches.

Have all 3 of these series of FX have MIDI Program change working yet? Remember this was a problem on the reverb if I recall correctly

I want one to use with Perkons, Hexdrums and DB01 for doom metal vibes. That and Echolator would pair well with my H90.

yup for me it would be cool and easier to dial in than Sherman Filterbank.
