Black beauty! Got me spooked when I turned it on for the first time when no sound came out and, some of the algorithms were very quiet. Does one need to really pump up the two Compressor knobs to get some sound? I thought that was optional to drive it harder.
If I even enable the compressor by even 30% it will blow my ear drums out.
Ohh! OK I’m gonna have to test this machine properly. Right now my Comp. Thres is at 5 and Comp. Amt is at 7. Maybe it’s my headphone. And it’s mild sounding. Was expecting the thunder clap but nopes…

I bet with some more time experimenting with the various gain staging aspects, you’ll get your clap, for sure. This thing can get quite thunderous.
Sorry guys, need your help with the BBD. I am not getting any delay whatsoever! What am I not doing right? I’ve turned it to max just to test it, silence! It’s been a long while since I used any hardware without a screen Challenging.

I sent a feature request, asking if it would be possible to add customisable knob value ranges (or extra customisation) through a text file - the same way CC is customisable. For example, the fixed pitch env speed is not to my taste (if I remember correctly I would want it much faster).
Ofc these configurations would still be limited by design, to keep with the instrument’s aesthetic (or would they not?)

Hi. Need some help with this:
Trying to set my Torso S4 as master MIDI clock to start/stop and sync with my Perkons but it won’t even start. Tried all the MIDI config on the Perkons but no luck.
On S4 Start/Stop and Sync Out is checked
On Perkons Clock Source MIDI selected, MIDI MODE set to Single. I’m assuming if the LED light is off means that parameter is set as OFF?
Help?
Hi - can you share with me your settings in the Perkons for your Torso to sync as the master? I can’t sync it to my S4 and tried all the MIDI configs. Cheers.
Hi. I’m on tour right now so i can’t check for you.
There’s some settings in the configuration of the Perkons that deals with midi voices and sync, i just can’t remember of my head.
That said, I did have a lot of problems with the S4 and sync in general, that I haven’t experienced with the T1.
That’s why I sold the S4, but I could all have changed since?

I had to use the clock out AND MIDI out to start/stop the Perkons from the S4. Gonna try to use the Perkons as master next. Not ideal. Thanks for the reply!

I thought that keyboard April Fools joke would also bring an update shortly after that lets you use the triggers play or enter notes melodically.
Maybe bottom two rows as notes and top two as scale options and transpose or something.
