Erica Synths LXR-02 Desktop Digital Drum Synthesizer

Yes maybe contact your dealer if it’s still on warranty.

I haven’t used the LXR much lately but regarding output routing and morph kits, I remember having weird behaviors as well, so I just tried to stay consistent with my output routing through different patterns, to avoid jumps.

My new LXR-02 has arrived!

First off, it has a full, lush printed English manual. with cc values in the back. I do not remember the last time, I got a piece of musical gear with a full manual- it might be a decade or two. It will make learning this thing much easier than having to have a screen open. And I am going cat sitting in a few days with my new toy and I can learn easier on the train. (Maybe not so good if you a non English speaker but the manual is so nice to touch
with beautiful diagrams, you might still get some joy).

The build quality is just nice and well built. I have long had an eye on the LXR -back even when it was in version one. But I was almost tempted by the TRS 6. But I have a MC101 and a 404 MK2 -and I do not like their current, cheap-feeling build quality. Also I vowed a few days ago to not to buy Roland again until they get their engineers talking to their design people about buttons, knobs and how to build something with usable and likable menus. (That is a bit hard on the 404, which has lots of good design in there).

I had thought to wait and try to save up for the Hexdrums-but failed. This has the travel option advantage. Might still save up.

And finally, I have just put a one bar sequence in 2 minutes-with the initial sounds. It sounds great and I want to dance to what I hear.
Everything speaks of quality. This will do the job.

How did you eventually fix the noise issue? I just received my LXR-02 and have experienced the same noise behaviour with my Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X. Thx!

Unfortunately I don’t have the lxr-02 anymore. I stopped using it with headphones to protect my ears. I think the actual issue is that the heaphone output is too loud - to a degree that it could definitely damage your ears.

I wonder why they released it like that. It’s crazy how ear splitting it is, even at low volume.

Hi,
Noob here, anyone have issues with LXR-02 tracking MIDI CH1, even when master midi channel is set to something else?

I was setting specific midi channels per voice using OXI in multitrack and the unit was picking up all my CH1 steps as well.

Thanks!
