Okay, thanks for the help. OT is configured correctly, it’s sending midi to other devices in the same set up. I’ll keep you posted with a midi B cable, the one I have might be A (thought it was multidirectional but I might be wrong). @victorcampos mine came in a shoebox, the former owner didn’t seem to have the original adapter nor box for that matter

I’ve been playing with my Swarm this weekend. Despite it’s wobbly pots, unfathomable graphics and limited sequencer, I’ve been churning out some fantastic techno riffs for some banging loops (soon to be tracks?).
Still loving the sounds from my Swarm, but the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Anything else out there that is similar but doesn’t feel like crap to use?
Build quality is fine , sound is unrivalled. Had mine 3 or 4 years….nothing broken. Enjoy it and make more techno seqs. Admittedly it ain’t no tank 
but honest not heard of any QC or build issues.
Mounting it into a different case would help.
Totally get where you’re coming from… I find it hard to enjoy flimsy gear too. But yeah, as mentioned, haven’t heard of any broken ones yet, so wouldn’t be overly paranoid.
Recently sold mine, but would be back in for a MK2 tank edition.
Will add that the first thing thing to do is attach some feet or blu-tack or whatever to stop it sliding around. Feels like the desktop housing was a bit of an afterthought
I’ve put it in another case and it helps a bit. Unfortunately it’s never gonna be a premium feeling bit of kit.
What is the spec of the knob shafts on the QS?
I have seen people but some knobs / toppers on them and I would like to do that as well.
It seems smaller than standard 6 mm shaft, seems to be around 5 mm?

Oh, the trimmers have to be removed? And replaced with some converter to different width / top heavy trimmer?
It’s not just about putting something on the top of the existing ones like on a regular shaft?
ANSWER: OK, I have found out you have actually replaced the whole thing in other to get better feel / precision when tweaking pitches.

I just used these and they fit on perfectly. Once they’re on, they’re not coming off without a fight though, so choose your colors wisely.
