keep in mind that the last 4 envelope shapes are different beasts altogether - i wouldn’t call them percussive myself, the attack phase defines an initial period of max output - if you release before the decay phase is reached the release phase will commence (not from the top) - you can hear the difference (select pitch as a destination for env2 and use regular (&longer) ‘open’ amp & filter envelopes ) and hold for longer than the e2 ‘attack’ phase ! it will drop as expected if you get into the decay phase - i don’t think it is a bug ! albeit that the example you present seems odd - the envelope models don’t need to follow real world expectation - just try it (hold post attack) with a sustain of zero initially (decay too) and then with an intermediate sustain level to get some nice ‘unnatural’ stepping (adjust decay to get multistage envelopes !) :wink: - very powerful flexibility #notbuggybutawesome
