I wonder if the guys that did the .04 added the anim. When I saw my Elvis, it was just show up, no slide in (unless I missed that part, it was so quick)

Iād been waiting, camera ready, to take a pic of my screen for years after I saw Elvis in hopes Iād catch him again. I gave up.

I saw the grid space animation and was overall just stoked on the firmware, wanted to show it off to my synth homies on IG so I got a video!

Just came back to say that I think its safe to assume they didnāt increase the probability of an elvis sighting in the new unofficial firmwares. I turn my MD on multiple times a day sometimes and always make sure to look just in case, havenāt seen him since my initial recording and havenāt heard of other sightings.

Butā¦ then itās no longer special to see Elvis. Also he might get a little too comfortable and start making unreasonable demands and force you to re-release his hits with you crooning over the machinedrum doing its best rendition of blue suede shoes and before you know it Elvis is using you as a fleshy interface to live through while your own dreams and desires wither and die. Is that what you want?
