Elektronauts Users Geo Locations

I would like to see a google map of all Elektronauts, it would be great to meet people nearby in real life, talk about music, gear, perhaps come up with some co-op ideas… could even lead to some frequent meet-ups in your area in future.

I could develop a website/page like that very quickly, it could be even easily implemented as part of this forum later assuming moderators like the idea.

What do you think guys?

Most of us already provide the location information anyway, it’s visible on the profile page. It’s not a big job to scrap that info from the forum and put it on the map, it’s more about who wants to be there and share that info I guess. So I would rather provide a tool for all of us, and whoever wants to share that info will simply put a city/town in there, more than scrapping the forum and putting everyone on the map, if you know what I mean.
ps. I used to live in much bigger city, but moved back to my home town, which is a proper shit hole, hence the idea ; )
I am glad some of you guys like it, will try to implement something next week and we see how it goes…
