This is magnificent! But ends up too abruptly…
Busted. During this first attempt I hit “the zone” after a few minutes, then fell back into old habits by playing and adding some notes on my keyboard using a lovely old piano sample. Because of the upload restrictions, I cut the ending to make the file small enough to upload, masking my mistake by following the rules: no rhythm or melody. The whole recording is longer but probably qualifies drone-ambient . Edit 14-4: uncut version on BC, couldn’t remove the melodic part because i always record straight from mixer live as 2 bus.
Walked the dog listening to this, what a trip!

This is my first attempt at drone music so feedback is appreciated. Technically… a couple of transients show up when going through a phaser + comb filter, but they’re “infrequent” and are used to trigger feedback / reverb.
Does this count?

Please beware that is pretty noisy, not relaxing at all.
This time I went semi modular: novation monostation + behringer pro-1 + moog werkstatt into Zoom MS50+ + dreadbox erebus and stylophone cpm ds-2.
