Elektron Support - Australia

Has anyone had any experience with getting a warranty issue resolved in Australia? In my experience so far, it has been terrible… I logged a ticket with Elektron who got back to me promptly, with the instructions to get in contact with the Australian vendor, which I have attempted about 4 times in the past 2 months - no response… yet every time I buy an Elektron product from these guys, they are happy to respond within the hour!

I’m actually at a loss as to how I will get this issue resolved - so this is just a bit of feedback to Elektron and to other Australian users… Hope you have a better experience than I have had.

I’ve had no problems with them, when my MnM pot started acting up, I brought it to the shop, told them what the problem was and they replaced the pot within a couple of days and they even replaced the old knobs with the new rubber knobs for free.

Have you tried calling them?

I’m currently trying to get my a4 faceplate replaced on warranty by Awave instead of having to post it back to sweden (it had that issue with chips in the paint job from when i bought it brand new). It’s been a few weeks now since i’ve heard anything about it, last email i had was from elektron support saying they were gonna try to contact audio chocolate/awave to try and get it happening. I’ll follow up again in a week or so once support are back from their break to see whats happening on it.

Repairs in AU are handled by a separate entity than the distributor / retailer (to my knowledge). I’ve had mixed experiences, and currently have a long term issue in progress.
