So… got an email from Elektron about a 15% sale on all machines.
This might just push me over the edge to grab a Rytm, especially if the local retailers are doing that as well. AU$1,700 sounds a lot more appealing then AU$2,000… anyone know if anyone has stock, or they still drip feeding suppliers?
Hey Rusty, I actually had the exact same thought.
I spoke to Awave sometime last week enquiring about stock and they said they’re expecting a delivery before Christmas, but other than that it’s a bit up in the air.
I imagine if you get your retailer to place the order (maybe with deposit) while the sale is on you’ll probably be able to take advantage of the discount?
And yeah… the money saved might help me feel a bit better if i’m underwhelmed by the pads…
or another option is follow my method:
I dropped my Telstra (hugely expensive mobile service in oz) account
I signed.up to easy pay and purchased an analog rythm for $79 a month for 24 mths
from store dj in melb (2000 overall)
so simply I will be paying the same as my old mobile service for an anlog rythm - i will take that alternative any day of the week…
I have recently paid off my analog keys ($1800) via this easy pay method
also store dj customer service is outstanding and they carry all elektron gear plus dsi, moog and korg, basstation, Waldorf
