Elektron job opening

This ought to be interesting.

Good move. Void, where are you?

sup

Gearing up for the onslaught of questions when Overbridge is released, based on the detailed job description.

I can’t imagine how many calls they’ll get from people running Reaper on some Linux variant trying to get Overbridge to talk to their A4 or people with huge ProTools setups trying to integrate Overbridge and having timing issues.

I hope Elektron succeeds with minimal issues so they can get back to updating the Octatrack OS, but I fear they will be swamped with trouble tickets for quite a while, given the sheer number of possible combinations of hw, OS, DAW, etc.

If they would make the position available at the LA office, I would move there tomorrow.

+1 for void!!!

their customer support has been nothing but great for me, but wouldn’t hurt having someone who has the chops to share and execute on more experimental stuff as well

Whats the pay like?

They probably just want somebody who can give instruction for using the Elektron gear, and probably not so much an issue that you know every single DAW/gear combo inside and out.

Hell, they probably just need somebody to answer emails with simple responses like “We’re very busy, but we’re working on the next update right now.” Somebody to go to the castle gate to calm the hoards of users pounding the drums of discontent over all this silence and lack of updates.

This is the perfect job for any elektron nerd, with some social skills
Who wouldn’t like to share offices with Cenk and the awesome team? It’s a nice place, with nice people. I wish I could visit more often.

Cuckoo just tell them you want the job man and be done with it :joy:

I got the gift of gab but my ass is in Portland OR.

Are you kidding? Cuckoo already has a job. He’s the synth community MVP. Act like you know.

Have you seen Cuckoo’s non-Elektron videos?

LOL for real. Yeah parts of me would love to be working closer with Elektron. But, apart from my recently proclaimed MVP status (thanks! ) I’ve got animation and visuals work (and a life?) in Oslo that is hard to negotiate.

Rob

Ahem… so there is a job? Or am I dreaming? More people need to know about what Elektron is doing. Their work is revolutionary and changing the music scene as we type. I’d love to join the team any way I can. Let me know Elektron.

Too bad it’s in Sweden, I’d be happy to get paid for something I do anyway :joy:

I spent quite a while today helping someone on another website who broke an encoder on his OT.
