Elektron Jamming With A Mixer

Hello!

I’m planning to bring my Analog Four to a friend of mine’s house for a jam session on Friday. The thing is though, he is more interested in DJing so we will be using his mixer (4 Track Traktor) to mix pre-made songs with my A4 jamming. So, he will play a ready made track, then while he does that I want to make a song on the A4, which he then mixes in from his song. And then I have jammed for a while he will mix in another ready made song. And so on.

So: (Ready made song) mix —> (A4 Jam ) mix —> (Ready made song) mix —> (A4 Jam ) etc, etc. Does this explanation make sense?

Now my question is, is this possible? And if so, what cables and such will I need? I have never used a mixer in my life, as I’m more interested in production. I think the Traktor is also a sound card, so it should work, or…?

You should only need 2 x 1/4in cables from your stereo outs to the mixer. You may require 1/4 to RCA adapters on the mixer end.
