Elektron boxes : sequencing poly not so good?

Hi ! What is improved in the DT ? What is the difference with other elektron sequencers ?
I’m still interested in this digitone fm synth anyway

I meant Digitone, not Digitakt

When you add notes to a chord, they are correctly recorded in the sequencer. A4 was not working like that, so if you were adding a note to an arp it wouldn’t sound the same when looping.
I think this changed on A4 too, since DN was introduced. Not sure, though.

I read that both could use overlapping midi notes with different steps and different lengths. What are the differences between DT / DN?

For midi sequencing which do you prefer OT or DT?

Surprised this hasn’t been mentioned yet but a major advantage (to me, at least) that the DT has over the OT for MIDI sequencing is that it can handle overlapping MIDI notes, meaning you can hold a chord and have other notes play over it. On the OT, any MIDI event would cut off the previous/current event, meaning that a chord would be cut off by any notes that came after it was started. This makes me miss my pyramid so much
It’s currently at squarp being fixed.
But the good news is I solved audio latency in Ableton
So I’ve just been live looping and junk with that… Still miss my baby though.

Away from home, I have to check this on A4, I think with last OS the behavior is similar now
