Just to cheer people up, the LANDR acquisition of Reason seems to have led to a pretty impressive new (and quick) release…most the stuff Reason users have been asking for for a decade! Maybe it can work in some cases…( Reason 14 - The Lounge / Other Gear - Elektronauts if your interested)
