Sorry, missed this. I’ve had the raging shits since Saturday morning, so…
Went really fucking well.
Aside from the fact there were about 12 people there, it was fucking incredible. It was a bit funny though, cos there’s hardly ever metal acts on at EMOMs, but the guys before us were weirdly quite similar to us and really good, which dampened our ability to surprise somewhat. They want to do a Collab now, which is cool and all but I’ve got a fucking album to finish…
James is a force of fucking nature, was a bit worried about him at first, kept trying to wander off the stage with the mic and upset the sound guy while we were setting up, but I think that was just him building the tension.
He absolutely smashed it, had all 12 of them eating out of his hand for 15 minutes.
I now know the difference between people saying well done because they’re nice people and people saying well done because you did well.
Think we’re gonna have a go at Sheffield next, maybe Derby and Leicester too, but Friday was enough to prove that we’ve got something, so I want to get as many tracks in the can as possible over the next month or so and get the album done pronto so I can focus entirely on my live setup for a bit.
