So I have a JX-08 connected to the external input to my Digitakt II. I notice that the chorus and MOVD work but not delay and reverb is this a bug, am I missing something or just Elektron hasn’t got around to enabling it? Can somebody relieve of this frustration thanks.
It should work fine … I’d probably check any routing options that might’ve been tweaked
Might need to start the sequencer to trigger the audio engine
On the DT1, you press Func + LFO to scroll through the ‘Master’ pages and one of them has a page where you set up your input volume, configuration and effects sends. Don’t know if it’s the same for DT2, but I assume it is.

On DT1 the reverb and delay on external input can ‘go to sleep’ sometimes (if internal sounds using reverb/delay are not triggering). You need to trigger an internal sound that send to reverb or delay to wake up the external delay reverb.

This will happen any time you double tap ‘stop’ quickly, it acts as an effects ‘panic’ and immediately stops them.
It is by design, for sure - would be quite a problem to have a delay feeding back if you can’t remember how to find the Feedback encoder, and most peoples immediate reaction to that kind of thing would be to mash the ‘stop’ button over and over again!
Just tapping the track to trig or trig+yes will get effects running before you hit ‘Play’ again
