Ok, cool thanks for clearing that out. I guess the LEN on the Digitakt not making it’s way into the Analog Rytm firmware is about backward compatibility. Makes sense.
Surprised to read this, I just assumed that the ARmkII sample engine was the same as Digitakt too, well it saves me from trading my mkI and DT at least
I have been spoilt by the DT a little…Its not that the start - end scenario is a real problem…ARmkii is not the same as the DT but i learned samplers on an ensonic mirage so its all ears and no eyes that im used to…
but yeh the DT is a Sampler…and the AR is an analogue drum machine that happens to play samples blended in…you have to plan more and edit more with the AR…
I just saw an old vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGn53AFXwZ0 where around 6 mins Cenk more or less explains why there is no waveform display on the rytm. It seems a deliberate thing; because the rytm is not a ‘sampler’ like the DT or OT…
I think that now you can do it with the new 1.5 update and the mk2:
“[MKII] Sample waveform view has been added on SMPL PAGE 2.”
Dont know about mk1
