E-RM Multiclock & Digitakt

Thinking about adding a Multiclock to my rig as a master clock. No computer sync - just hardware.

Anyone slaving Digitakt to Multiclock?

Is it tight?
Does it stop/start good?
Will it swing?

Cheers

What other gear do you have and what specific timing problem are you trying to solve?

It’s complicated :loopy:

Just looking for experience with Digitakt

Cheers

Recent Elektron boxes do clock averaging, so the quality of the clock signal is pretty much irrelevant.

Ok, so it should play nicely then. Not looking to improve timing, just to integrate it. Does clock averaging mean it won’t swing?

Its internal swing will work, but any swing in the clock signal will be ignored.

Good to know - thanks

i’ve used a DT, AR, and MnM with the MC. I most definitely recommend it if you have more than a couple of sequencers.

The hardware/DAW clocking is pretty fantastic as well.

Thanks mate - think I’ll pick one up

Excellent clock box…

Use as master clock. It solved our issue of syncin traktor to elektrons.

Also, as you can start/stop each of the 4 midi outs independently you can switch projects on the fly. Then restart the midi chain on beat.
