Was just wondering if anyone knows the voltage tolerance of the DT2 ? …and if it would likely run ok with a 15V ripcord.
…I won’t take the risk unless I get something conclusive … so don’t fret.
Thanks!

Mine runs fine on a 12v ripcord. You need a usb port that provides enough power though or it won’t boot up… Don’t know about 15v, I don’t think I’d risk it.
Me neither.
Must be 12v center positive, and provide 1amp - you can use a cable that provides more amps safely, as it will only use as much amperage as it needs, but do not exceed the voltage requirement, or use a center negative cable, that can, and most likely will, cause damage.
The 12v ripcord is rated to provide .75amps, but will just power the DT/ DT2, as it only briefly draws 1 amp at power on. It can’t power a Syntakt as that needs at least 1.5amp.
Get a Birdcord. Works flawlessly with my DTII and the correct power bank. Dieter from Birdcord can advise you on what you need.
I’m using a myvolts Step up. It’s the “next-gen” ripcord, uses USB PD and all that jazz. The 12v one works great. The only thing you need to watch for is if your powerbank supports 12v via Power Delivery (it’s optional in the Power Delivery spec). If it does, and many/most do, you’re golden.
Mine works great a with 12V Birdcord as well.
Thanks for the responses , people.
I’ll probably end up getting an extra cable of some description.
Is the MyVolts PD step up one functional with most modern battery packs? I think I have one that automatically adjust the PD. I think it’s quite a neat/versatile solution, compared to cables.
