I’m thinking of getting a Pulsar 23 for the more wonky rhythmic stuff you can get out of it.
But it’s a lot of money for a very specific synth.
Do you think you can fake the Pulsar sound, wonky rhythms and interactions like in these patches with a DT/2 or AR?..

Obviously I can use Pulsar samples. But could I recreate that wonky organic feel with the Electron boxes?
I already have a DT2 and might consider trading that in for an AR if it would be a better fit for the sound I’m going for.
I don’t own any other synths… yet. But am looking at other weird drone/noise/rhythmic boxes… unless I can fake them with samples too
