Question to users of a mono synth and Digitakt.
I want to get a mono synt to use with DT, but I want to have it play different programs/patches, (one at a time being non multi timbral)
Like bass, lead, pad, whatever, only one midi track active at a time for this synth.
Setup: I dedicate several midi tracks to the synth, all same midi channel.
In each midi track find/assign a different patch.
Mute them all.
Put notes in tracks.
Unmute track 1. It should play the prog. X.
Now what happens if I mute the 1st track and unmute 2nd track? Will it play that program and not the one from previous midi track?
It seems possible, how do you people use a mono synth to get the most out of it?
Ideally a program change would be great to use different sound but I’d be happy with part one already.
