Is it possible to automate tempo on the DT/2, Mark Fell style… Sonnenhof A | FELIPE VAZ | EVEL
Can this be done internally? Either through trig programming or by using LFOs?
Can it be done automating it via a DAW with (or without) OB?
Or can you get the same effect doing it manually with the encoder? Does the sequencer tempo go high enough for this kind of result?
EDIT: to clarify, within a single pattern, I know each pattern can have a different tempo.
Not possible internally, you should be able to send a manipulated clock from any DAW that allows that kind of technique. Weirdly enough you can use a Microfreak as a master clock for modulated tempos:
I’ve recently been using the Microfreak as the master MIDI clock for my setup as it allows you to use tempo as a destination in the mod matrix, leading to interesting experiments in continuous tempo variation and modulation. I’m interested in exploring this technique further - I realise it’s trivial to realise this in software and modular, so I was wondering if there were any other hardware devices that allow for the manipulation of MIDI clock in this manner, even if it’s just as a minor feature…
