Well, i bought some hardware a year ago and also looked for drum patterns, i found 808.pixll.de but it was dead so i started this project:)

Yo! I’ve just finished implementing all bug fixes and feature requests from HackerNews (besides different time signatures). Right now i’m looking for more feedback from music oriented communities. Currently i’m working on midi import and some procedural tools for beat generation.

this is really cool!
I noticed that when you select a category the resulting page doesn’t have a way to choose another category without going back to the main page - perhaps keeping the whole list but highlighting the one that was selected?
it would be nice to have a way of exporting a pattern - maybe in some simple text format - if there was a standard format this could be used to upload a pattern as well.

Seems reasonable, added to do list.
Actually there is already a way to export them, just click on the pattern or pattern title and right underneath the pattern there is option to remake pattern, export as text or export as midi.

Great work, nice one!
I don’t know if you already figured it out, but you can check out comments for patterns and they sometimes have special links you can click that will play “songs”. They look like this @[1,2,3], e.g. International Music System – Bubble Rap – Drum Patterns
You can also create your own “songs” by putting comment with message @[here goes comma separated list of variations]. More info about this on “Create” page, underneath the pattern editor.
