Dreadbox Artemis

Got a NYX reissue and an Erebus V3 a few weeks ago, they both sound great. So really gassing for this synth. Think this synth could be really special, looking forward to hearing more demos of it.

Why is there no mention of this synth on Dreadbox´s site? no manual, no anything. really weird imo!

I have Typhon and used to own the Nyx DIY and if I were to describe the sound subjectively you’d get “sooo phat”, “it really is All That” and “mmm”. Not at every twist of a knob but they are close at hand. In other words, they were really nice, they matched my expectations and I don’t get the same anywhere else. I think they are great for making ambient sounds but you may want post processing. They were definitely quirky in their layout and Artemis provides more direct access which is what I’ve been missing in Typhon

@MichaalHell Sounds like a delay but let’s hope, I’m itching to hear more sound examples and patches.

Really, which ones are these?

Musicstore.de said they expect it for today on their website till, well, today. Now it says May 8th there. Thomann had in on shipping within 2-5 days on Monday, now it says 1-2 weeks again.

Not sure why it’s so unclear when the thing actually releases. Let’s hope Anderton’s doesn’t get 90% of stock to sell it at a price nobody wants to buy it for .

It could just mean that the first batch Thomann received has been sold out and shipped out to customers and if you order today you will get it from the next batch arriving later.

synthesizer.gr posted on insta that they were ready to sell units the other day. there was another smaller French shop I saw that got their units as well, but I can’t remember their name.
