DR110 and TR606 kits just added to the Files section

See https://www.elektronauts.com/files/436 and https://www.elektronauts.com/files/437

I tried to get both kits as close as I could to the real deal, and these are fairly close. In order to really get the right sound, I often had to layer and use machines other than the TRs. It’s really tough to tune the EFM cymbals to match the DR and TR, but those got me the closest. Done by loading samples of each of those real machines into my machinedrum and comparing back and forth.

I’ll give this a try this weekend, but wanted to thank you for sharing before I get to the listening.

I encourage you, if you have the time and motivation, to share the music you produced using the kits, I’m sure it’ll get more people interested in your work. I, for one, am curious

Thank you! I actually just sold my machinedrum but wanted to be sure to share these kits with the community since I spent a while on them. Enjoy and let me know how they sound to you!

Oh, are these native sysex kits? No samples? Sweet. Many thanks.

Hey, I just tested these out and they are quite lovely I must say! Really like the HHs and cymbals on the 606 kit. I think you got pretty close to the sound of the original. I’ve never messed with a DR110 so I can’t say for that kit. Still some lovely drum sounds in it though! Long live the MD!

Is it possible for someone to simply post the parameter settings as a word document instead of a sysex file? I’ve learned that I work faster by simply looking at parameter settings versus trying to fiddle with MIDI through USB dumps.
