Looking for an advice on double keyboard setup.
I use Prophet 6 as my main keyboard for composing, scoring and generating ideas. Very often I feel the need for second keyboard - to play harmonies with the left hand and add second sound to work with.
Then I put one of my other synths (they all are big ) above the P6 it doesn’t work good - it blocks the access to P6 controls and generally all the setup feels too big and scares me a bit : )
Another option is to put 2nd keyboard a bit at an angle and on the same level as P6 (kinda wide “V” shape ) but this is also annoying- cant concentrate on none of them.
Finally I put Push 2 controller sometimes at the left corner of P6 and it works well, but playing Push unfortunately isn’t the same experience as having keys.
I thought maybe to get a smaller keys just for this (like Nord G1, Mopho or Arturia keystep), but not sure if it will b any better.
So wondering how you do that. Maybe there are some good examples from famous keyboardists / composers?
