Hi, i can’t get it working. But it could be a computer setup thing, since i am going thru the computer and out from my soundcard.
Anyone could confirm it works and that the problem comes from me ?
help would be appreciated !
what is the question then ?
When playing your A4 with a midi keyboard, does the sustain pedal work ?
… apparently not, i’d never have guessed ! cc64 btw, irrespective of polarity
the midi command is actually mapped to a performance knob fwiw ! and this makes sense given its origins, strengths and the market demographic
wow this is bad news…
Thanks for doing the test… i guess it’s time to send elektron an e-mail.
This is a bit of an oversight for a poly synth.
Perhaps they can implement it in a future OS …
I’m using the A4 as a synth module, controlled by a Roland keyboard. Having sustain CC64 control mapped to a performance knob is causing me problems when I play, especially when using piano where sustain is used. In my tests, using sustain caused the A4 to go silent. I’m a total newbie to the A4, so if anyone has a suggestion on how to block cc64 or modify performance knob F so that sound does not cut out, please let me know.
assign nothing to performance slot F ! - clear existing assignments if any
Avontronica, Thank you so much for the tip. Still trying to grasp all the capabilities.
