Does the OT send SongPosPtr message?

Hey Everyone,

Long time OT owner and have never had an issue using midi clock/transport with any of my Elektron devices.

I just took home a Rhythm Wolf and have been clocking it over midi.
I’d like to reset the sequence to step 1 over midi and it seems that I need to send the Rhythm Wolf message SongPosPtr=0

Anyone have any insights?

it sends SPP in song or maybe arranger mode, i think double stop should start you right too in normal mode !

I haven’t tried with the Arranger yet or Song mode on my A4.
Maybe I’ll try that later when I get home from work.

I was not able to get double tapping stop to reset the Rhythm Wolf sequencer however. Maybe I’ll play with the Midi Channels/Auto Channel…

Do you mean Analog Four or Octatrack?
On the OT, I believe that it will only send SPP if it is in Arrangement mode.

Hey guys,

Back from work and got it going! :+1:

I have it hooked up to the A4 and using Song mode it started working. After turning off Song mode it continues to work. Weird. I’m going to test with the OT in a moment to see if works the same with the arrangement.
