I’m about to re setup my setup for the too manyth time in the last whenever and I thought I would at least consider a standing setup. My very first setup was standing because of space limitations. Does anyone prefer a standing setup over a sitting setup? Thank you.

I’ve got the analog four/Rytm on the top row of my keyboard stand at the moment
and I was quite surprised on how much I actually enjoyed have a jam standing up…
Normally I produce sitting and djing standing, it’s doable standing with Elektron gear…

If you have the budget, why not have both with an electric table?

I have one with 3 memory slots and it’s just the best of both Worlds.

Mine is the poor version 
I can adjust table height with a handle.
I usually jam in a stand up position but when mixing/sound designing, I am sitting.

Pretty handy
With the “poor” version, it is 9 turns of the handle backwards to lower it and 9 turns the other way round to up it.

I have both, desktop with DAW & Jaspers Keyboard stand with synth. I have to sit all day, that is why i wanted a standing setup as alternative to jam in the evening. I do some sitting sessions with my synth also - especially when sound designing. (moving them around…)

I do both: I have a standing setup for playing with the machines, but for working in the DAW/mixing etc I sit at a desk

I am also doing both! My desk is more or less a bar counter, 2,40x50x6 of Douglas fir at a height of approx 1,10. I do enjoy jamming while standing as it encourages grooving with the music and generally allows me to be more active 
If I really need to take a seat I have two barstools around

Standing is the best imo for jamming, but when I really want to dial in a sound or dive into a sample, I always pull up a chair.

I try to make sure that my setup works for both. It is always a compromise but I don’t understand how people sit in a chair to make dance music : ) YMMV
I perform standing up. I produce sitting down. I have a pretty clear delineation between the two though

I just mix it up. Sometimes 2 units on a stand, sometimes everything on my desk, in bed with one thing on my knee or on the floor, tangled up in multiple kinds of all sorts of cables - at one with the whole process!
Hardware desk standing. Daw laptop sitting, but that s more necessity than choice. I like standing because i remain more active and alert than sitting.
i’m disabled and can only stand, but i use a standing desk, and risers for all my table legs. it hasn’t changed much, except i can be in there much longer now!

I use a standing setup for jamming but a sit-down setup when I have to spend time in my DAW arranging and all that. Feels like the only way to do it for me — when I’m just improvising and coming up with new ideas, I’m too energized to stay seated, and when I need to focus for long periods, I can only be comfortable sitting down.
Makes things a little weird for my monitors though. I keep them at ear-level for when I’m standing, which means they’re basically unusable when I’m sitting down, so I’m usually just working in headphones when I’m in my DAW (which isn’t so bad really because the audio clarity is probably better in headphones).
