Doctrine I: an experiment in sound, image, and intention (share your experience)

Hi all,

I just finished the first piece in what I’m calling the Doctrine series.
This was a new kind of project for me: the music and stereo mix were familiar ground, but the words and video editing were new territory. I’m really curious how it lands with people here.

A lot of people here are thoughtful about process and interpretation, and that’s exactly the conversation I’m hoping to have. It is intriguing to explore how electronic music ideas resonate personally and creatively.

Here’s the video:

I’d love to hear from you—
• What struck you first: image, sound, message, or something else?
• Was there a moment that really stuck with you?
• How did it feel compared to music alone?

I didn’t expect to wake up to 50 subscribers this morning, but beyond numbers, what really interests me are the qualitative reactions. Even something simple—like “this made me rethink a part of my process” or “this made me want to try something new”—is far more meaningful to me.

It also helps the algorithm, of course, but that’s secondary. Consumerism feels like it’s at a peak right now; my real goal is to inspire people to create, not just consume. Questions like “Could you make the thing you last bought?” or “What would it look like if you built your own version?” sit at the core of this project.

Thanks for listening and reading. I’m excited to see what resonances this piece creates here.
