Hello, I don’t own an A4 and I’m curious about it’s sonic possibilities, do you have some advices for videos I should see ?
Thanks !

Probably not entirely what you’re looking for, but I filmed myself creating a spaced out patch using just one of the voices from scratch on the A4. It gives you at least some insight into the sonic territory you can get into with this brilliant thing. And sorry for not filming the screen, didn’t have a tripod at the time.
Cool! Very nice, and it gives a good overview of the range of sounds, thank you
We don’t have a lot of detailed video, but a friend and I do experimental / glitch type stuff with 5 elektrons and a few other things. In my opinion, the a4 has a character that can be picked out if you want to give some of it a listen.

It’s all 100% improvisation work. Over 60hrs currently. If you skip around you are sure to find some interesting and varied a4 sounds. We are working on some more detailed videos for demonstration. Should have some available soon.
If I’m not mistaken Duplex uses md and a4 for weird glitchy stuff. check him out https://soundcloud.com/duplx
Check out the track in my signature!
Edit, here in the name of redundancy:

Lots of good things there, thanks for all these links, it’s nice to see more people doing real live experimentations
Thanks, but please let me emphasize that this is just the very tip of the iceberg. This thing moves into sonic territories other synths I have tried (maybe except the Monomachine) can only dream of. But yeah, you need to get one and try it for yourself to really appreciate. It’s amazing.
noisier side of things
This uses the MnM and A4 for all percussion work (clicks, pops, and static like beats) vocal samples manipulated via the OT and a little help from Tassman 4 on the extra synth voices.
Made this one with just the A4
Woaw, sounds really good!
i don’t own the analog four either, but i’m getting closer and closer to getting one. here are my favorite youtube videos of people using the analog four in an experimental fashion:

++++1
These are areas my own ambient, atmospheric, drones, experimental works tend to gravitate towards in use of all my synths. Great to see and hear others seek to use A4 in ways that sound outside of the typical step sequencer sound paradigm–otherwise, many compositions and way people utilize it really seem to all start sounding alike without any “making it’s one with character and really difference in programming as far as sounds go”.
This can happen with Quasimidi Polymorph, RT Spektralis, and even Cirklon Sequencer when it gives the impression that composition and planning are not a focal point in order to make any given instrument and it’s sound design possibilities personally iconic to one’s own creativity.
