Can any one confirm this is the right power supply for the Digitone 2 ?
Both Thomann and Elektron do not mention the Digitone 2 for this one…
That is precisely what came in the box with my DN2.

Yeah, they’re all the same across devices. 12V 2A.
Wow, that’s expensive. Would something like this also work? Yeah I know, it doesn’t have the Elektron logo 
It should work, but … you own a $1000 synth, are you really trying to save a few bucks on a power supply?
What’s wrong with the Thomann one? I understand a power supply is important, it’s just weird that the Elekton power supply costs about 6% of the total units price. Has some magic mojo? I bought a more powerful DC Power Brick by Meanwell, who are a very reputable maker, for my modular recently, €33
But guess the Elektron is the safe bet
Hard to explain in a few words… but “not all power supplies are created equal”.
Thomann put their name on this one and they’ve been selling it for a couple of years so it’s probably not complete junk.
It’s not crazy cheap. I don’t think the DN2 uses anywhere near 2A so it shouldn’t be under stress.
Fiddly little rotary switches don’t fill me with confidence, I’d rather have a fixed-voltage supply. The maximum output isn’t enough to zap your DN2 but I’d want to measure the voltage before using it, just to be sure, and I wouldn’t touch the voltage switch after that.
I don’t imagine the official Electron one has anything in it worth 48 Euros but if I was looking for a second hand DN2 I’d definitely want one with the official adapter (which many don’t have - where do they go? What happened to yours???)
